We camped at pfeiffer big sur state park in a motorhome. The hiking trails through the trees and along the river are nice. There are no dogs allowed at the campsite. Campers park on the west side of highway 1 and walk in to the campground approximately 14 mile across the big sur river on a seasonal wooden footbridge.
Starts across the river from the redwood deck. I love running water and big sur riverflows through the campsite and some sites are adjacent to the flowin 15 reviews.
